Clear Aligners Now Offered at AdVance Dental!

The past several years have brought several improvements to AdVance Dental, including 3D x-rays and 3D scanners. The 3D scanners are fancy cameras that stitch thousands of pictures of someone’s teeth together to create a digital copy of a patient’s mouth. Along with this technology, Dr. Vance has received training in clear aligner therapy. Clear aligners can be used to move/straighten teeth in some situations, improving the appearance of someone’s smile without the need for full braces.

If your front teeth are uneven, crowded, or have gaps in between them you don’t like, clear aligners may be able to help. The first step would be to collect the needed information to see if clear aligners are an option, and if so, what can they do for you. This first visit takes about 30 minutes where we would take some photos, x-rays, and scan your teeth. From there, our digital lab evaluates the data and creates a digital model of your teeth before and after clear aligners. We then bring you back for a second visit where we review the digital preview together. This allows us to see how much straightening the aligners are able to do, and if it’s something that you’d like to try.

See below for an example of what can be accomplished with clear aligners:

Aligners are not for everyone, some cases require braces or other treatment to get the desired result. But you never know until you ask! If you would like straighter teeth, aligners might be an option for you!
